Growing up on a farm in central New York, Dave Pronko has lived the life of a country singer from the time he was a boy. You could say traditional country music is in his DNA. After moving to Rochester, Dave formed his band the Pronkobusters in 2010. The group features Bruce Diamond on Bass, Mike Dyrda on lead guitar and Joe Grillo on Drums.
Dave also does a lot of acoustic gigs with Bruce Diamond who also happens to play a mean mandolin and fiddle. Dave and Bruce have been playing private parties, weddings, wineries, country clubs and bars since 2007. Their material includes a versatile line up of traditional country, bluegrass, classic rock, and blues songs. They also perform many of Dave’s original songs as well as songs by penned by some of their favorite local songwriters. Mike Dyrda has also been joining them recently
on their acoustic adventures lending his fierce chops on both lead and slide guitar.
