Welcome to the 7th Annual Fairy Houses Tour! We encourage people, families and groups of all ages to enter and build. This is a fun, FREE event that encourages design, nature exploration and building.

If you don’t choose to build, please come and see approximately 40 creatively designed and built miniature houses. Fairy Houses are whimsical structures built with all natural materials by individuals, families, and teams.

You can also for vote for your favorite house in our “People’s Choice Award” contest during the event.

#10 Fairy Houses will receive a gift bag which includes admission for 4 to The Strong National Museum of Play and will be on display at The Garden Factory for visitors to enjoy post-event.

NEW this year is an opportunity for the public to bid on a specially designed Fairy House by Destiney Shultz, a multi year, award-winning designer! The winning bid will go to a designated charity and you receive the Fairy House!  Details to follow.

The Tour is inspired by the “Fairy Houses Series” of books by Tracy Kane. Tracy is responsible for re-igniting the Fairy House movement in the United States. Her goal is to get children and adults alike out into nature, exploring and experiencing its wonders.

We’ll have a Fairy on hand to grant wishes and interact with the kids!
