28 Free Music Performances at the Corn Hill Arts Festival

Rochester, NY, July 10, 2019 – The 51st Annual Corn Hill Arts Festival, presented by ESL Federal Credit Union, will be held on July 13th & 14th 2019.  The Festival is a Rochester tradition that celebrates art in a variety of mediums. This year the 51st annual celebration will feature 28 free performances across four stages, providing visitors a variety of genres to choose from and enjoy. 

Beginning on Saturday, the WellNow Urgent Care Main Stage will welcome The Fairport Canal Authority, the country’s premier Chicago Tribute Band, as well as Flint Creek, with a distinctive sound dubbed as “country with a kick”. 

Other can’t-miss performances throughout the two-day Festival include Todd East Tribute to The Blues and Johnnie Johnson at the Michelob Ultra Gazebo Stage on Saturday, Head To The Roots at the 88.5 WRUR Stage at 27 Atkinson Street on Saturday, and Daniel King Band at the (585) Magazine Avery Mall Stage on Sunday.

The headliner on Sunday will be Robert Parker’s Freightrain, performing at the WellNow Urgent Care Main Stage. The American songwriter and recording artist Robert “Freightrain” Parker is a multiple award-winning Hall of Fame inductee, whose unique and recognizable blend of soul, funk, blues, and roots captivate any audience.

Additionally, Noe Socha, born in Capri, Italy will be performing three times throughout the two days. Noe is an award-winning Brooklyn based guitar and harmonica player, creating his own signature sound based on influence from artists such as Bob Dylan and Neil Young.

Funds raised during the Corn Hill Arts Festival through sponsorships, vendors and exhibitors are disbursed by the Corn Hill Neighbors Association for a variety of community needs. Festival funds are also used for protecting and promoting the historical character and beauty of the area.
