The Corn Hill Neighbors Association Announces the 48th Annual Corn Hill Arts Festival

Rochester, NY, April 8 2016 – The Corn Hill Neighbors Association and ESL Federal Credit Union are excited to announce the dates and exhibits for this year’s Corn Hill Arts Festival. The 48th Annual Festival will take place July 9th and 10th from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday. This event is open to the public and free of charge.

A true Rochester tradition, the Festival is a lively celebration of art and music. With generous support from ESL, the historic Corn Hill community comes together to promote the creation of original creative works and raise funds for the Corn Hill Neighbors Association.

“At ESL, we are proud to support such a wonderful celebration of the arts and the Corn Hill community,” said Faheen Masood, CEO, ESL Federal Credit Union. “As the presenting sponsor of this year’s Festival, ESL is excited to be a part preserving and recognizing one of Rochester’s most treasured neighborhoods.”

Each year, the Festival hosts an array of original arts & crafts, live music on four stages, wine & beer gardens, food, and exhibits. More than 375 original artists and craftspeople will offer an abundance of pieces for sale to festival goers. The Corn Hill Neighbors Association is pleased to welcome back several annual favorites as well as some exciting new features!

New this year, The Finger Lakes Classic Car Club (FLCCC) will hold a classic car show at the Festival. The FLCCC will show approximately 30 cars from across the region. The cars will all be from the last century and will include antiques, classics, hot rods and other unique vehicles. Visitors will have a chance to talk with the owners and “look under the hood”, choosing their favorite car in our “People’s Choice Award” voting.

Now in its eighth year, the Emerging Artists Expo recognizes budding artistic talents. The Expo invites 25 first-time exhibitors aged 15 to 25 to display and sell their artwork at the Festival. Proud sponsor MVP Health Care is now accepting applications for this year’s exposition. The deadline for submission is May 31st.

Delighting children of all ages our ever-popular, family-friendly 4th Annual Fairy Houses Tour returns to showcase intricate and whimsical fairy houses. Submissions are now open. In addition to the tour, children can enjoy plenty of fun activities in the Community Area.
