Rob Goodling and Friends

Pianist Rob Goodling is a well-known Rochester teacher, conductor and adjudicator. Mark Daniels is a versatile tenor from Kennebunk, Maine who trained at the Eastman School of Music. In 2017, Rob and Mark began a collaborative partnership that has resulted in sold-out performances from Maine to Florida. One reviewer commented, “Having heard many concerts, what immediately caught my attention was Mark and Rob’s intimacy with their flawless sense of each other, AND conveying that to their audience. One was caught, drawn in, gathered up and surrounded by the passion of their music!” The Opera Guild of Rochester has featured them annually in recitals and they recently performed at the 2026 Rochester International Jazz Festival.

Rochester soprano Amanda Varrone has her Master of Music degree from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University and has studied in Italy and Austria. A busy mother of two daughters, she is also a professional vocalist who was a former student of Rob’s at Churchville-Chili High School. Ms. Varrone has frequently joined Rob and Mark for performances at the Inn on Broadway, the Chatterbox Club, in Opera Guild recitals as well as at the 2024 Corn Hill Arts Festival. Their performances include opera arias, Broadway musical theater as well as popular song and they are thrilled to be returning to Corn Hill once again!
