Kara Fink Duo

Kara Fink is a singer/songwriter based in Rochester, NY. Growing up, Kara studied both jazz and classical guitar and participated in local musical theater programs. She eventually settled into a contemporary folk style of playing, but still incorporates elements of jazz, soul, and pop. Drawing inspiration from artists like Lizzy McAlpine, Taylor Swift, and Joni Mitchell, her music is sure to captivate audiences of all ages. Kara will be accompanied by Parker Story, an accomplished jazz pianist. Parker Story holds an undergraduate degree in piano performance from Roberts Wesleyan University, where he now teaches jazz performance and directs both the jazz combo and jazz big band ensemble.
