Head To The Roots

Head to the Roots is a dynamic roots rock band hailing from the heart of Rochester, New York. Their music is a blend of raw rock, energy, and folky introspection often performed with a collective improvisational spirit on stage. Starting the project in 2018, lead singer and guitarist Anthony Siciliano released two EPs, Transitions (2019) and Seeker (2021), both meticulously crafted in the acoustic haven of bedrooms and basements. In the autumn of 2024, Anthony, along with drummer Chris Palace and a cadre of local talent, unveiled their debut LP entitled “Rising”. Recorded at 1809 Studio with producer Dave Drago at the helm, “Rising” captures the group’s evolving sound and adds a fresh layer to their roots rock landscape. Beyond the studio, Head to the Roots tours the states, delivering fun and uplifting live performances. They’ve shared the stage with luminaries such as Mikaela Davis & Southern Star, Ripe, The Nude Party, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, X Ambassadors, and Ghost Note. Head To The Roots continues to captivate crowds across the northeast and making notable appearances at music festivals.
