Corn Hill Arts Festival Announces Dynamic Entertainment Lineup

The 58th Annual Corn Hill Arts Festival, presented by ESL Federal Credit Union, returns this summer on July 11 and 12, with a vibrant, genre-spanning musical lineup featuring zydeco, soul, indie rock, funk, and blues. Live performances will fill 

Rochester’s historic Corn Hill neighborhood all weekend long, creating a lively soundtrack for one of the region’s most beloved events. 

Music will take place across four stages: the Main Stage, the Gazebo Stage, the Avery Mall Stage with media support from (585) Magazine, and The Porch at 27 Atkinson Street with media support from WXXI | The Route.

Bringing the spirit of Louisiana to Rochester, Curley Taylor and Zydeco Trouble deliver an infectious blend of zydeco and blues driven by soulful vocals and irresistible rhythms. Known for turning every performance into a dance party, the band has toured extensively across the U.S., earning fans at major festivals from New Orleans Jazz Fest to the Waterfront Blues Festival.

With their signature “Moxy Rock” sound, Maddy Walsh and The Blind Spots combine danceable indie pop-rock with bold style and powerful vocals. The five-piece band is known for high-energy performances, theatrical flair, and a growing national presence, sharing stages with artists such as Lake Street Dive, Lucius, and Blues Traveler.

Blending funk, soul, jazz, and R&B, Jamal Youngblood and Soul of the City bring a polished, groove-driven sound to the stage. Fronted by a dynamic vocalist and backed by a tight ensemble, the group delivers performances that move seamlessly from high-energy dance numbers to smooth, soulful ballads. 

Miller and The Other Sinners Trio

Buffalo-based Miller and The Other Sinners Trio fuse Southern soul, blues, and gospel into a powerful, roots-driven sound. Led by award-winning vocalist and guitarist David Michael Miller,

the group has performed hundreds of shows across North America, captivating audiences with heartfelt songwriting and electrifying musicianship. 

More than 20 musical acts will perform across all four stages throughout the weekend, offering a wide variety of genres and experiences for every musical taste.
