Official Fairy House Building Guidelines

2026 official fairy house building guidelines

Building

  • Get creative with your fairy house! While we still have our "Best Use of Natural Materials" category, we'd love to see what else you can come up with. Feel free to build using natural items, recycled materials, legos, wood – let your imagination soar!
  • Platforms or man-made support materials should be used for easier delivery and transport.
  • Houses should be table top size and portable.
  • Maximum dimensions of 3ft wide x 2ft high are strictly enforced. We will accept larger houses but they will not be eligible for prizes as they cannot be easily transported. Please use a sturdy base that can hold up if wet (such as plywood or luan).
  • The theme of the house may be anything you wish. We will award prizes for the following: "Most Unique", "Most Whimsical", "Best Use of Natural Materials", "People's Choice Award"
  • Please do not use any items of value in the house as the Corn Hill Neighbors Association, Corn Hill Arts Festival and Fairy Houses Showcase do not take any responsibility for any loss or damage.
