The Gospel Pearls of Rochester, NY is an all-female gospel group comprised of cousins and friends. The members are: Manager Minnie Earle, Betty Session, Sonya Martin, Elder Linda Johnson, and Vickie White. The group was founded in 1999, with each member having started singing at a young age with their families.
The Gospel Pearls are committed to being a blessing to others by spreading the Word of God through their music and their lives. Their desire is to please the Lord in every way, and they strive to be a support to other groups and events. They believe in the power of unity, as reflected in Psalm 133:1 — “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”
Over the years, the Gospel Pearls have ministered at numerous events throughout the Rochester area and across the region. They have also shared the stage with many renowned gospel artists and groups, continuing to represent their faith and community with grace and excellence.
The group also recorded the original song “Be Ready When Jesus Comes” written by Minnie Earle.
