The Occasional Saints

The Occasional Saints is the big sound of New Orleans roots, blues, swing and jazz, with a helping of sanctified gospel and a whole lot of humor. Featured are the original songs of P. V. Nunes who handles keyboards and lead vocals. Says Frank De Blaze of the Rochester Beacon- “ Nunes plays with a mixture of Big Easy ease and lapsed Catholic chagrin. It’s nasty, but Nunes and his band, the Occasional Saints, don’t work blue. They don’t have to. They got enough salacious swing….
