Top Knotch is a Smooth Jazz super group based in Rochester NY. Arthur Beaty, an accomplished guitarist, session musician, and recording artist in his own right, formed the group in the spring of 2014. His musical stylings are reminiscent of George Benson and Wes Montgomery but with his own signature flair. He is a veteran on the music scene in upstate NY and has shared the stage with many well known acts such as Saxophonists Marcus Anderson and Everette Harp to name a few. Top Knotch members consist of Arthur Beaty, Terrence Walker, Judah Sealy and Tyrone Cole.
Terrance Walker is a phenomenal keyboardist/producer who often performs with the group “Shine” that plays many events around upstate NY. Terrence’s wife Blair Monique is a gospel artist whose single “Hold On”, which he produced, is climbing the gospel charts.
Judah Sealy is a smooth jazz saxophonist and recording artist. His debut CD entitled “The Arrival” was released in August 2015 and his been a mainstay on multiple Internet radio stations.
Tyrone Cole is a accomplished bassist and session musician. He has been apart of different bands that have toured around the world. He is the “go to guy” when ever you need some funky bass lines on your track.
Together they form the group named “Top Knotch”, coined by Arthur Beaty because their sound is “second to none”. Even though they have been together a short time, they have the chemistry and sound of a group that has been touring for years. Top Knotch is in the process of recording their debut CD.
