Todd East: A Tribute to The Blues and Johnnie Johnson

Corn Hill Arts Festival Entertainment

Grand master pianist, Todd East, returns to The Corn Hill Arts Festival for another creative and innovative music performance. The focus for this show will be on the blues and will feature some of the work of former Chuck Berry pianist, the late Johnnie Johnson.

Johnson played piano and wrote songs with Berry for well over 20 years. Johnson also performed and collaborated with music superstars Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Bo Diddley, and John Lee Hooker just to name a few. Johnnie Johnson was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

This performance will also cover blues music that has influenced the members of Todd’s band mates for this show. Todd’s band will include Dave Riccioni, Steve Lyons, Greg Brown, Don Holcroft, and Corn Hill Arts Festival music producer, Woody Woodward.
