Steve Grills and The Roadmasters

Corn Hill Arts Festival Entertainment

Steve Grills has been long considered a leading light on the Rochester music scene, well known for his passion and dedication to the blues. As a teenager, Steve began performing in bars in the Black neighborhood, where he first met Joe Beard. Joe’s encouragement served as an inspiration for Steve to continue his musical growth and journey.
With the release of his CD recording After Hours, Steve’s renown as a blues guitarist has grown nationally and internationally. After Hours charted at #39 on the Top 100 Blues Albums of 2011 on the Roots Music Report based on radio airplay. Steve performed at the 2009 Chicago Blues Festival, featured with legendary blues pianist Ernest Lane in a tribute to Robert Nighthawk. Steve and his band the Roadmasters never fail to deliver an exciting and satisfying performance!
