Sam Nitsch is a composer and performer specializing in the fusion of diverse musical styles and techniques. After beginning his career as a classical violinist, Nitsch developed a distinct voice through the exploration and inclusion of multiple instruments, technology, and contemporary methodologies into his music. Nitsch emerged from the Rochester music scene in 2015 and now is based in Boston at the Berklee College of Music. Since 2015, Nitsch has performed over 100 shows in over 50 venues. In the Spring of 2016, Nitsch released his debut album, “Passage”, followed by his EP “Torn” the next year. Nitsch has received much acclaim for his music including an invitation to perform at the 2017 Rochester Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony alongside musical veterans Paul Schaffer, Gary Lewis, and others. Nitsch’s new album, “Conscience”, reflects his time at Berklee College of Music in Boston where he works close to the heart of the industry as part of the next generation of writers and musicians.
