Connie Deming is a celebrated singer songwriter known for her versatility, warmth and charm. Frequently dubbed by Democrat and Chronicle’s Jeff Spevak as “the best pure singer in the city,” she has performed nationally and locally for over 25 years.

A featured solo artist on WXXI television’s OnStage concert series, Connie has recently released her 7th recording, Into the Blue, with Ireland’s acclaimed guitarist, Gerry O’Beirne. Into the Blue was chosen by Democrat and Chronicle’s Jack Garner as CD of the Week in Dec., 2014.

WRUR’s Scott Regan features several of Connie’s originals and covers on his morning show, Open Tunings, touting Water, the opening track of Into the Blue among his top ten favorite songs of 2014.
Connie will be performing her original music as well as a tribute set to songwriter Nancy Griffith at this years festival.
