Behold the very essence of an unadulterated phenomenon of talent. Cinnamon was designed to leave an indelible impression for all to admire. She embodies an unequaled exhibition of love and dedication for the art of music which shows through her innovative blend of genres. Her body of work reflects inspiration from gospel, Blues, Jazz, Pop, R & B, and Soul. Her ability to bring together these many influences infusing them all with a Gospel core, stunning vocal prowess, and commanding stage presence, lends to a performance that is both moving and unforgettable.

Born and raised in the heart of New York City, Cinnamon experienced the passion of music at an early age through Brooklyn’s neighborhood gospel choirs. At age seventeen she formed the group “Young Shades of Black” performing popular songs with a twisted flavor that sparked her own unique vibe. This vibe ignited Cinnamons urge to pursue a career as a solo artist.Her solo career catapulted when she ventured off to the West Coast. During her time in California she performed in two stage productions; Lee’s Gospel and Blues are True. Audiences in the Bay area were drawn to the religious fervor Cinnamon brings to her music, and as a reward, she was awarded “best female vocalist in the Bay area” by top star awards a consecutive 3 years in a row. She was also featured in Billboard magazine as one of the year’s “up and coming” new performers.

While utilizing her remarkable gift of performance, Cinnamon effortlessly combines her rich vocal talents with acting skills, awarding her roles in Dream Girls and Bubbling Brown Sugar. She is also fortunate enough to add producing to her long list of facilities, an essential component in forming a spectacular entertainer. She successfully produced locally acclaimed stage productions such as; Lee Gospel, The Blues are True, and Live on stage: A visual experience.During her career thus far, Cinnamon has also had the privilege to perform as an opening act for a list of phenomenal entertainers such as; R & B legends Rick James and Jeffrey Osborne, Neo-Soul artist Eric Benet, Jazz artists Marion Meadows and Rick Braun, along with comedians Paul Mooney and Tommy Davidson. She also toured with talented Blues artist Buddy Ace. She has performed internationally in such countries as Belgium, Ireland, Italy, and Spain and has received standing ovations in each local

Since leaving California, Cinnamon has returned to her native State of New York. She currently resides in Rochester, NY where she’s sang commercial jingles for United Way, Pella Windows, Shear Ego (Salon/Spa), Rochester Transit System (RTS), Henderson Automotive, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Aside from her role of entertainer, Cinnamon is also a humanitarian. She continues to give benefit concerts (while soliciting local musicians) to help local and worldwide organizations such as; The Tsunami Relief Benefit held in February 2005, Alternative for Battered Women held in May 2006 and Children Awaiting Parents 2013 just to name a few. With excellent musical instincts, and the earthy voice that matches the searching sincerity of her songs, Cinnamon loses herself in the power of the music, allowing it to flow uninhibited through her voice. All you’ll need to hear is one note bellowed by this talented beauty and you’ll be caught up in the rapture that is truly a spice of Cinnamon! She recently toured in Denmark, Austria, Spain, Finland, Germany Paris and Africa with the Campbell Brothers. She is currently Performing her stage play “Lady Of Song” which premier in May 2014 and was received very well at the Fringe Festival 2014.
