Kit Nelson

I was 12 years old when rock and roll music first came on the radio in Rochester. It swept me up into a lifetime of playing guitar, bass and singing in bands and solo. When the Beatles and the British invasion hit the scene in 1964, I joined a very successful band called the Quirks. For three years we played to large crowds in teen clubs, teen dances and high schools. It was my musical learning curve and it was pretty steep. I also learned to write songs, do recordings and all the other skills it takes to be a pro musician. Now, all these years later I’m still rockin.’ Its the joy of my life.
