Here is another locally based youthful and vibrant band that shows great promise and a desire to be bigger and better all of the time. This band blends Blues, Country, and Folk music into an energy based package that is guaranteed to stir the soul. They do a number of their own original songs and also cover such great artists as Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, Patsy Cline, and Stevie Wonder.

They are fronted by the uniquely talented Teagan Ward. Teagan has a voice that is as articulate as it is powerful. She is a promising young lady who has enormous musical and song writing skills.

Also in this band is classically trained pianist, singer, and song writer Katy Wright. The rest of the group is rounded out with Alferdo Encina on percussions, Jeremy Stoner on bass, Tommy Formicola on steel pedal, and Lou Giglio on lead guitar. This band has just recently returned from a national battle of the bands competition in Austin Texas where they were very well received. We look forward to hearing a lot more from Teagan and the Tweeds in the future.
