Jerry FlzoneThe clichés of harsh Winters and humid Summers may betray the beauty of the Northeast but it constantly tests the mettle of its inhabitants. Jerry Falzone is a survivor, either in music or through music. Even he doesn’t have an answer for that. “I’m not sure what has kept me going all these years. Sometimes its a gig, sometimes its sitting alone with my guitar, sometimes writing a song” he says. “Whatever it is, if I’m doing it now, I’ll be doing it forever”

The journey started with his first real band, Pearl. A Top Album Pick in Billboard Magazine, national tours, radio and television concerts all made success seem inevitable. “Its amazing how that kind of scheduling keeps you going but after ten years with no money you have to consider what exactly is success”.

After a stint with a talent agency in his home town of Rochester, NY he got back into songwriting when his friend, Mason Tyler asked him to write some material for his CD, The Road Beyond. He started playing with the Mason Tyler band until he was asked to produce and write material for blues singer Debbie Randyn, the singer in Pearl. “Debbie has always been my closest friend” he says “and when she asks, I act”. That partnership yielded her debut solo CD, Talk To Me. Jerry wrote or co-wrote eight of the ten songs and co-produced the record. Both Mason and Debbie”s albums garnered great reviews, even in the Netherlands.

The last three years have found Jerry writing songs for his debut CD and playing that music to enthusiastic crowds in and around Upstate New York and Pennsylvania. The CD, Off The North Coast , featuring twelve songs written from the heart and performed by some of the best musicians and vocalists Rochester, NY has to offer was released in December 2006. It has received great reviews.

Jerry lives in Rochester with his wife Kathy and daughters Amanda and Angela.
