The ever popular Todd East will return to Corn Hill for the fourth year in a row for two performances on two different stages over both days of the festival. Todd is very well known in this area for his years of solo and band performances at weddings, private parties and clubs in the region.

Blind since birth, Todd started playing the piano and singing at the age of three. He began his professional career at age 15. He performs on the local music scene with Todd East and Friends, Prime Time Funk, and an abbreviated version of PTF known as Hot Sweets. Todd’s talented vocals, piano skills, and commanding performances continue to make him one of the most sought after musical artists from this area.

Todd is also well respected and revered for his work in the recording studio. His voice can be heard on many national and local radio and television commercials. He has performed at The Lionel Hampton Jazz Club in Paris and Foxwoods Casino Resort. He has and continues to work on numerous recording studio projects. Most recently, Todd has appeared with Jeff Tyzik and The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. He has other major city performances scheduled with Mr. Tyzik for the fall of 2014.

Even though Todd has recently relocated to Iola, Kansas with his wife Denise, he continues to return to Rochester to perform on a regular basis.

Todd is establishing himself quickly in around his new home with a steady performance schedule in Iola, Kansas as well as in and around the cities of Pittsburgh, Kansas City and Wichita, Kansas.

This year’s performances at Corn Hill will include Todd East and The Usual Suspects with Pete Isaac on guitar and former Savoy Brown percussionist, Joey Pierleoni. This show will take place at The Avery Mall stage on Saturday afternoon from 1:10-2:45 pm.

On Sunday morning, Todd East and The Corn Hill All Stars will play at The Gazebo Stage from 11:10-12:50 pm..This fine act will feature some of the very best musicians in the region that include Prime Time Funk members Jim Richmond and Dave Cohen. Steve Lyons from the Beale Street Blues Band and The LP’s as well as Atlas bassist, John Viavattine.

Todd’s talent, ties and reputation in this community as a musician and a friend to so many make him the perfect choice as one of this year’s headliners at the festival.
