Dave Riccioni and Friends are a high energy act that showcases three of the very best musicians that perform in our music community today. These three experienced performers are passionate about their shows and they all wear there hearts on their sleeves when they take to the stage.
Riccioni is a master blues guitarist and singer, with an unmatched reputation for his huge guitar chops and his fevered performances. He performs with numerous acts that include, Todd East, and The Natalie B. Band.
Band mate and famous barbeque master Ralph Bushey is along time friend of Riccioni’s and is recognized as one of the most conspicuous percussionist in the area. His idiosyncratic and adaptive style of play continue to make him one of the very best drummers on the local music scene today. Bushey and Riccioni have been collaborating and performing for years and were members of one of the very best and memorable blues band to ever come out of this area with Marshall James and The Night Stalkers.
Piano master and dedicated music teacher, Dave Marinelli, is the third ingredient that slow cooks this band into the perfect musical stew. Marinelli has most recently returned to Rochester after a two year hiatus in Las Vegas. His passion for teaching and performing has no genre boundaries. Marinelli is a text book example of a creatively adaptive musician who loves to collaborate, to perform, and to surround himself with other musicians that he holds in high regard. Dave’s approach to the art is simple, feel the groove; stay out of the way and keep it real.
